Snow is a huge novelty for us here in Johannesburg, South Africa.
One small speck of sleet causes an uproar, the Twitterverse goes bananas and Facebook servers crash and burn in the wake of our status updates, photos and videos of the aforementioned tiny speck of sleet...
Today then, has been quite a day for us here in Jozi. It actually snowed a fair deal, laying down a blanket of white all around.
What better time then, to build a snowman...!
Assisted by my able colleague Bryan (of Technoblegy fame), Frosty the Snowman gradually came to life this morning, the 7th August 2012, using all of the snow and limited resources we could find (bearing in mind that we are not really a snowman-building nation...:).
I'll have you know, it took about an hour to get any feeling back in my extremities...
Even so, it was totally worthwhile... Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Frosty!:
Please be kind with your feedback... we didn't have THAT much snow to work with, and our snowman-building skills still need much refining... :)
So did anyone else out there get into the spirit of the snow and freeze your hands off building a snowman this morning?
